A Little Taste of Everything

A Little Taste of Everything (ALTOE) is a not-for-profit organization designed to operate a mobile food market to provide nutritious, affordable foods and nutrition education materials to low-income populations throughout Philadelphia. In addition to local, sustainably grown produce, the truck will stock staple items such as rice and beans and healthy snack foods. ALTOE grew out of a youth-driven project at University City High School in West Philadelphia, where students participated in a market-garden program and recognized the challenge of securing access to fresh produce in a city.

The project is currently on hiatus, awaiting funding. We'll let you know as things develop.
